X-ray and Ultrasound

Here at Halifax Veterinary Hospital, we have access to digital radiography services. This equipment ensures minimal exposure to radiation, as well as quick and clear imaging results. It can be beneficial in helping to identify your animal’s condition. Once a month, we also have access to a board certified radiologist who offers ultrasound services.

How do you use X-ray and radiology services at your hospital?

Radiography allows us to see inside your dog and gives the veterinarian valuable information in evaluating the health of your dog. X-rays are not just good for bones! They are an excellent way to assess the size and shape of internal organs and structures.
